Marvel Studios czar Kevin Feige gets top dollar for Westside home

Film producer and Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has sold his home in Pacific Palisades for $3.72 million -- $400,000 more than the August list price of $3.68 million.

Feige, who owns other property in the area, bought the house in 2009 for $3.175 million, property records show.

Designed by local homebuilder Clark Remington, the two-story Traditional on a cul-de-sac has an East Coast vibe with shingle siding, white trim and a street-facing terrace balcony.

Living spaces divided by broad archways trimmed in wainscoting include a living room with a fireplace, a dome-topped dining room and an open-plan kitchen with a center island. Built-in bookshelves, dark wood floors and pendant lighting highlight the interior details.

The master suite has a fireplace, a large soaking tub and a private balcony for a total of five bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms in 4,058 square feet.

Outdoors, privacy hedges shelter grounds containing formal landscaping, a covered patio and a small expanse of grass. A rooftop deck with mountain and ocean views sits atop the home.
